Our Philosophy of Marriage and Family Therapy is that problems are not part of one individual, but by the entire family members. What affects one person affects the entire family.

The following are some examples of problems that you may relate to:

A child has issues in school. Often the child is thought to be the problem. In reality the solution lies within the family. It may be that parents are constantly arguing or not communicating and your child picks up on this. As a result it an affect your childs academic performance.

A couple has issue  which becomes the problem of both and hopeully together they can help each other. If one spouse is reluctant to receive help then we work with the individual. A change in one of the spouses may change help the relationship.

A family has issues. It can be problems related to divorce, drug and alcohol, mental disorders such as Bi-Polar, Depression, Anxiety, problems with in-laws. 

An individual has issues .  They can be issues related to depression, anxiety, stress, divorce, anger and much more. We help the individual learn to opening up and help build trust with the therapist. We often will refer to a medical doctor for further testing or medication if it is out of our scope of practice.
