Collaborative Law Approach
Collaborative Law is a family law process enabling parties who have decided to end their marriage to work with lawyers and occasionally, other family professionals like Accountants and Mental Health Practicitioners in order to avoid litigation and address the needs of both spouses and their children if any.
Our Collaborative Mental Health Practitioner (MHP)has a license in Marriage and Family Therapy. The Collaborative process uses the MHP not as a therapist but as a facilitator for the process. This approach is highly recommended and cost efficient to avoid litigation as well as the court deciding verses the individuals.
